Job summary

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Barista role based at Absolute Black & Co. in Hyderabad. The Barista will prepare and serve specialty coffee, handcrafted beverages, mojitos, and food items while maintaining high standards of taste, presentation, and hygiene. Responsibilities include greeting guests, taking orders, operating coffee equipment, managing the bar and food prep area, and ensuring a clean, organized workspace. The role also involves handling payments, supporting smooth store operations, and contributing to the overall guest experience in line with the brand’s premium and luxury positioning.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Barista skills, including preparing espresso-based drinks, brewing specialty coffee, and operating coffee equipment.
• Candidates should possess Food Preparation skills, including basic kitchen hygiene, handling ingredients safely, and assembling simple food items.
• Candidates should possess Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills to create welcoming interactions and build positive guest relationships.
• Candidates should possess clear Communication skills for taking orders, explaining menu items, and coordinating with team members.
• Previous experience in a café, coffee shop, or hospitality environment is beneficial.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, work flexible shifts, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced setting.
• Commitment to cleanliness, food safety standards, and consistent quality in products and service.
• Basic cash-handling skills and comfort using point-of-sale systems are an advantage.
