What would you do?

We are seeking a dynamic and young professional to join our team as a Senior Analyst/Specialist for Payment Operations. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing various aspects payment operations (payments lifecycle for Cheques, Deposit Operations, Lockbox, processing and execution, reconciliation, servicing). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Payment operations and proven team management skills to drive results in a competitive banking environment.

What are we looking for?

? Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in business administration, finance, or a related field (preferred). ? LEAN and Six Sigma Certified is preferred. ? Extensive experience (10+ Years) in Payment Operations, or a related role within the financial industry. ? Strong knowledge of Payment products, services, and operations o Wire/ACH/Credit card/Debit card/Cheques Payments, Deposit Operations, Lockbox Operations o Payment Repairs & Investigations o Maintenance & Servicing Requests o Payment Service Regulations ? Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. ? Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. ? Strong understanding of compliance requirements, and risk management practices. ? Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing market conditions and effectively lead in a dynamic business environment. ? Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively under pressure Working Conditions ? Employee should be flexible with shifts (US Shift / Rotational Shift) and willing to extend their shift timings during the transition phase. B. Com / Accountancy background is preferred. ? Roles and Responsibilities:

• ? Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations (electronic payments execution, perform payment repair, investigations, reconciliations and fulfilling servicing & maintenance requests), ensuring efficient and customer-centric services.
• ? Responsible for delivering time sensitive and critical electronic payments.
• ? Review electronic payments, payment repair, investigations, reconciliations and servicing & maintenance requests.
• ? Sound knowledge in international payment and clearing process
• ? Expertise in Payment systems and Mechanisms and good understanding of Payment products –Cheques (Reconciliation, Claims, Adjustments, Positive Pay, Fraud etc.), Lockbox Operations
• ? Good oral and written communication are must since the process involves sending emails to client/vendor.
• ? Client facing or client interaction experience is must as the process requires direct interaction with client or vendors.
• ? Should drive the team to provide work product within the stringent timeline and improved quality.
• ? Responsible for allocation, recon, daily and monthly reports or dashboards
• ? Should work independently with or without supervision.
• ? Realise accountability and ensure the team completes the task at hand and on time.
• ? Involves high level of critical thinking and independent decision making.
• ? Preferably Commerce Graduate
• ? Candidates who have experience in electronic payments, payment repair & investigations, reconciliations and managing servicing/maintenance requests with team handling experience
• ? MS Office knowledge is mandatory.
• ? Experience in Automation / RPA / Process reengineering is preferred.
