Job summary

Agensi Pekerjaan Orgscale Recruitment Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Backend Engineer in India to design and implement scalable, reliable backend systems. You will lead technical decisions, review code, and mentor other engineers to uphold coding standards and best practices.

You will optimise performance, ensure security, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Fluency in English is required.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of backend development experience; track record of building scalable systems.
• Strong hands-on experience with Node.js, ExpressJS, and PostgreSQL.
• Solid understanding of system architecture, microservices, RESTful APIs, and distributed systems.
• Experience in backend performance optimisation, scalability, and system reliability.
• Good knowledge of software security practices, including authentication, authorisation, and data protection.
• Strong technical leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to guide and support other engineers.
• Excellent problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
