About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer with strong expertise in Core Java, Spring Framework, Microservices, REST APIs, and modern backend development. The ideal candidate should have experience designing scalable enterprise applications, implementing secure APIs, optimizing application performance, and working in Agile environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Core Java (Java 21 preferred; Java 17 acceptable).
  
• Build and enhance RESTful APIs using Spring Boot and Spring Framework.
  
• Develop and maintain Microservices-based applications with high availability and performance.
  
• Design and optimize relational and/or NoSQL database solutions.
  
• Implement industry-standard design patterns and coding best practices.
  
• Develop secure applications with Authentication & Authorization mechanisms such as Spring Security, OAuth 2.0, JWT, and role-based access control.
  
• Implement caching solutions (Redis, Ehcache, or similar) to improve application performance.
  
• Write comprehensive unit and integration tests using JUnit, Mockito, or equivalent frameworks.
  
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, testing, and deployment.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  
• Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance.
  

Required Skills

• 8–10 years of experience in Java backend development.
  
• Strong expertise in Core Java (Java 21 preferred; Java 17 acceptable).
  
• Hands-on experience with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and REST APIs.
  
• Strong understanding of Microservices Architecture.
  
• Experience with Relational Databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle) and/or NoSQL Databases (MongoDB, Cassandra).
  
• Good knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and Design Patterns.
  
• Experience implementing Spring Security, OAuth 2.0, JWT, and authentication/authorization mechanisms.
  
• Hands-on experience with Caching technologies such as Redis or Ehcache.
  
• Experience writing Unit Tests using JUnit and Mockito.
  
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
  
• Strong understanding of Git version control and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  

Good to Have

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  
• Knowledge of messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
  
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Splunk.
