Job summary

Tringapps Research Labs in Bengaluru seeks a Backend API FDE 1 (Lead APIs) to design and build cloud-native, multi-tenant Node.js/TypeScript backends. You will deliver spec-driven services on AWS ECS, work with SQL/NoSQL data stores, and apply AI across the SDLC from design to documentation.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building production Node.js backend services and REST/event-driven APIs such as Express, Fastify, or NestJS.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript.
• Multi-tenant SaaS design experience with tenant isolation strategies.
• Cloud-native design with stateless services, externalized config, health checks, and observability.
• Production experience with AWS ECS—Docker, task definitions, service configuration.
• Spec-driven/contract-first development using OpenAPI/JSON Schema.
• Applied AI across the SDLC with tools like Claude/Copilot.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and/or MongoDB for multi-tenant data modeling.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate production Node.js/TypeScript APIs following cloud-native and 12-factor principles.
• Design and implement multi-tenant services with proper tenant isolation and white-label configs.
• Author and drive OpenAPI/AsyncAPI/JSON Schema contracts from specs.
• Apply AI across SDLC including coding, testing, and documentation.
• Model and implement data persistence across RDBMS and NoSQL with tenant-aware schemas.
• Containerize services and deploy to AWS ECS with ECR, ALB, Secrets, and IAM.
• Implement authN/authZ, tenancy context, logging, tracing, and retries.
• Support modernization of monoliths to multi-tenant API-first services.
• Write tests and contribute to CI/CD and progressive delivery.
• Participate in code/design reviews and mentor peers.

Job Summary: Looking for Typescript API developers to design and build cloud-native, API-first, multi-tenant backend services in Node.js/TypeScript, with AI as a first-class collaborator across the full software development lifecycle. You will deliver spec-driven services on AWS ECS that safely serve multiple tenants and white-label brands, work across relational and NoSQL data stores, and help the Software Engineering Practice extend best practices for AI-SDLC. Job Description:
Core Skills

• Design, build, and operate production Node.js/TypeScript APIs following cloud-native, 12-factor, and API-first principles
• Design and implement multi-tenant services with appropriate tenant isolation across request, data, credential,and infrastructure layers; support white-label configurations without cross-tenant leakage
• Author OpenAPI / AsyncAPI / JSON Schema contracts as the source of truth; drive generation of code, clients,contract tests, and documentation from specs
• Apply AI across the SDLC requirements analysis, design, code generation, test authoring, review, and documentation using tools such as Claude Code, Copilot, and Cursor
• Model and implement data persistence across RDBMS and NoSQL with tenant-aware schemas, partitioning, and access patterns; own indexing, migrations, and query optimization
• Containerize services and deploy to AWS ECS (Fargate/EC2) with ECR, ALB, Secrets Manager, CloudWatch, and IAM least-privilege
• Implement resilience and cross-cutting concerns — authN/authZ, tenant context propagation, validation,structured logging, tracing, metrics, retries, circuit breakers, idempotency
• Support modernization of legacy monoliths to decoupled, multi-tenant, API-first services using strangler-fig and parallel-run patterns with zero-downtime cutover
• Write unit, integration, and contract tests; contribute to CI/CD and progressive delivery
• Participate in code and design reviews; mentor peers as applicable

Must Haves:

• Hands-on experience building production Node.js backend services and REST/event-driven APIs (Express, Fastify,or NestJS)
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript
• Multi-tenant SaaS design experience — tenant isolation strategies (shared, siloed, hybrid), tenant context handling, and noisy-neighbor mitigation
• Cloud-native design — stateless services, externalized config, health checks, horizontal scale, observability
• Production experience with AWS ECS — Docker, task definitions, service configuration, ALB integration
• Spec-driven / contract-first development using OpenAPI and/or JSON Schema
• Applied AI across the SDLC — coding, testing, review, documentation
• Ability to work with both RDBMS and NoSQL — tenant-aware data modeling, indexing, query tuning; hands-on with PostgreSQL and/or MongoDB
• API security — OAuth2/OIDC, JWT, secrets management, OWASP API Top 10
• Git, CI/CD, and trunk-based development

Preferred (Good to have)

• AWS certification (Developer Associate, Solutions Architect Associate, or higher)
• Event-driven architecture using SQS, SNS, EventBridge, or Kafka
• Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, AWS CDK)
• White label / configurable product experience across multiple brands
