Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field.
• Expert proficiency in Go and Node.js with experience building backend systems and APIs.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, SOAP, and integration tech like gRPC or GraphQL.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB, Cosmos DB).
• Experience with version control systems (Git, Github, SVN).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; CI/CD and automated testing.
• Extensive experience with cloud platforms (AWS) including serverless architectures.
• Familiarity with security best practices (encryption, authentication, secure coding).
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities; capable of leading technical discussions.

Responsibilities

As a Backend Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining the core services and APIs that power our [product/service]. You will work on challenging problems, collaborate with a team of skilled engineers, and contribute to building a scalable and reliable platform. You will be responsible for implementing robust, efficient, and well-tested backend solutions using Go and Node.js, and deploying and maintaining them on AWS. PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Contribute to the overall architecture and design of the backend system.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
