Job summary

PhysicsWallah is seeking an experienced Backend SDE-3 to design and scale mission-critical backend services powering our B2C platform in Noida. You will own end-to-end backend systems, deliver high-availability APIs, and collaborate across Product, Eng, and DevOps teams to drive performance and scalability.

You will tackle complex system design challenges, optimize performance at scale, and mentor peers while shaping the platform’s future architecture and features.

Qualifications

• 5–9 years of backend development experience in product-based organizations.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Node.js and/or Golang.
• Strong understanding of Data Structures & Algorithms.
• Experience in designing scalable microservices architecture.
• Strong expertise in System Design and distributed systems.
• Hands‑on experience with Kafka or similar messaging platforms.
• Strong knowledge of Redis for caching and performance optimization.
• Experience with MongoDB and database optimization.
• Good understanding of REST APIs, asynchronous processing, and event‑driven architecture.
• Experience with cloud environments, containerization, and CI/CD is an added advantage.
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
