Job summary

Idbasesoftware is seeking a Senior Azure Architect to lead architecture and design for enterprise cloud initiatives in Johannesburg. This hybrid role offers remote work options.

You will drive security, governance, cost optimization, disaster recovery, and high availability while collaborating with infrastructure, development, and business stakeholders. This is a 12-month contract with standard hours, Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:00.

Qualifications

• Experience designing end-to-end Azure solutions aligned to business requirements.
• Ability to create architecture diagrams, solution designs and technical docs.
• Experience with enterprise cloud migration and modernization projects.
• Strong networking, IoT, and security & compliance know-how.
• Familiarity with Azure Security Center and cloud governance.
