Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in India seeks an experienced Azure Local & Cloud Migration Engineer to guide datacenter modernization and cloud migrations. Responsibilities include assessing environments, designing migration strategies, and executing workloads to Azure and hybrid clouds.

You will deploy and manage Azure Local with Arc integration, implement IaC, and ensure security, DR, and cost optimization across Windows and Linux estates. Strong virtualization and networking skills expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Infrastructure Engineering experience.
• 3+ years of Azure Cloud experience.
• Hands-on with Azure Stack HCI / Azure Local.
• Experience in large-scale datacenter or cloud migration projects.
• Experience with hybrid cloud environments.
• Preferred certifications in Azure and VMware.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and manage Azure Local (Azure Stack HCI) environments.
• Integrate Azure Local with Azure Arc and management services.
• Implement IaC using PowerShell, Terraform, and ARM/Bicep templates.
• Migrate workloads from VMware, Hyper-V, physical servers, and legacy data centers.
• Execute cloud migrations with Azure Migrate and validate post-migration state.
• Modernize Windows/Linux server estates and optimize performance, security, and cost.

We are seeking an experienced Azure Local & Cloud Migration Engineer to support infrastructure modernization, datacenter transformation, and cloud migration initiatives. The role involves assessing existing environments, designing migration strategies, implementing Azure Local (Azure Stack HCI) solutions, and executing workload migrations from on-premises infrastructure to Azure and hybrid cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and manage Azure Local (Azure Stack HCI) environments.
• Integrate Azure Local with Azure Arc and Azure management services.
• Configure clustering, storage spaces direct (S2D), networking, and virtualization components.
• Monitor platform health, performance, and capacity.
• Implement backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.

Migration Planning & Execution

• Assess existing infrastructure, applications, and dependencies.
• Develop migration strategies, runbooks, and cutover plans.
• Migrate workloads from:

• Legacy datacenters
• Execute cloud migrations using Azure Migrate and related tools.
• Perform migration testing, validation, and post-migration support.
