Job summary

Cloud Kinetics is seeking an Azure Solutions Architect with 8+ years of experience to assess on-premises infrastructure and design secure, scalable Azure solutions. You will lead cloud migration projects, support pre-sales activities, and guide delivery teams.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assess customer on-premises datacenter environments including compute, storage and network dependencies.
• Perform infrastructure discovery to collect configuration data and performance metrics.
• Analyze workloads for cloud readiness and migration strategy (rehost, replatform, refactor, re-architect).
• Develop business cases with TCO, cloud cost projections, and ROI estimates.
• Define migration wave plans based on interdependencies and data flows.
• Evaluate licensing models and optimization options, such as BYOL.
• Document current-state architecture and propose modernization opportunities.

Job description

We are looking for an Azure Solutions Architect with 8+ years of experience who can assess on-premises infrastructure, design secure and scalable Azure solutions, lead cloud migration projects, support pre-sales activities, and guide delivery teams. Strong Azure architecture, migration, automation (Terraform/Bicep), networking, security, and Azure certification (AZ-305) are essential.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of customer on-premises datacenter environments including compute, storage, networking, and application dependencies
• Perform infrastructure discovery using agentless and agent-based tools to collect configuration data, performance metrics, and network dependency mappings
• Analyze existing workloads to determine cloud readiness, migration complexity, and optimal migration strategies (re-host, re-platform, re-factor, re-architect)
• Develop directional business cases including TCO analysis, projected cloud costs, right-sizing recommendations, and ROI projections
• Assess application interdependencies, data flows, and integration patterns to define migration wave planning
• Evaluate existing licensing models and recommend optimization strategies (BYOL, License Included, etc.)
• Document current-state architecture, identify technical debt, and recommend modernization opportunities
