Job summary

Embitel Technologies is seeking an experienced Azure Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable cloud-based data solutions. You’ll work with Azure data services, ETL/ELT pipelines, and data warehousing to support analytics and business applications.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data platforms, using Java or C#/.NET and modern DevOps practices for deployment and governance. This is a role focused on scale, security, and reliability.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and maintaining scalable cloud-based data platforms.
• Hands-on experience with Azure data services and ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Strong software development background in Java or C#/.NET.

Responsibilities

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Azure Data Engineer with a strong background in Java or C# software development to design, build, and maintain scalable cloud-based data solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Azure data services, ETL/ELT pipelines, data warehousing, and cloud-native application development. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data platforms that support analytics, reporting, and business-critical applications.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Databricks, and Azure Data Lake. Build and optimize ETL/ELT frameworks for processing large-scale structured and unstructured data. Develop reusable components and services using Java or C#/.NET. Work with Azure services such as Blob Storage, Azure Functions, Event Hub, Synapse Analytics, and Key Vault. Implement data integration solutions across multiple enterprise systems. Collaborate with DevOps teams to automate deployments using Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines. Optimize data processing performance, reliability, and scalability. Ensure data quality, governance, security, and compliance standards are met. Participate in design reviews, code reviews, troubleshooting, and production support activities.
