Job summary

Purview Services in PAN India is seeking an Azure WAF Cloud Engineer with 7+ years of experience to secure edge, cloud and on‑premise workloads. You will design, tune and manage WAF controls, IAM for WAF management, and HTTPS termination with robust security practices.

The role requires strong scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell), IaC (Terraform/Ansible), and CI/CD integration for automated security testing within pipelines.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Azure Cloud WAF/security
• Proficient in WAF tuning and configuration
• Experience with edge, cloud, and on‑premise deployments
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash or PowerShell
• Experience with IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet)
• CI/CD integration in security testing within pipelines
• Knowledge of OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities and secure coding practices
• Excellent communication and ability to manage multiple priorities

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage WAF solutions for edge, cloud, and on‑premise environments
• Tune and configure WAF rules and policies
• Integrate security testing into CI/CD pipelines
• Perform IDAM and access control for WAF management
• Configure HTTPS inspection, certificates and rate-limiting
• Monitor security events using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Splunk
• Develop custom WAF rules and security test packages
• Coordinate with DevOps for secure, reliable deployments
