Job summary

Purview Services in India seeks an Azure WAF Cloud Engineer to design and implement WAF solutions across edge, cloud, and on-prem environments. You will tune WAF controls, manage certificate handling, and ensure secure HTTPS inspection while integrating security testing into CI/CD pipelines.

The role requires 7+ years of experience with Azure cloud workloads, WAF mastery, scripting in Python/PowerShell, IaC with Terraform/Ansible, and strong networking fundamentals.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Azure cloud/workload security and WAF
• Hands-on experience with WAF tuning, management, and rule creation
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell
• Experience with CI/CD integration and security testing within pipelines
• Proficiency with IaC tools (Terraform/Ansible)
• Familiarity with monitoring/logging stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK or Splunk)
• Networking fundamentals and API integration
• OWASP Top 10 security vulnerabilities and mitigations

Responsibilities

• Design and implement WAF solutions for edge, cloud, and on-prem environments
• Tune and configure WAFs, manage certificates and HTTPS inspection
• Integrate security testing into CI/CD pipelines
• Automate security testing within CI/CD
• Develop custom WAF rules and testing packages
• Coordinate with DevOps and security teams for secure deployments
• Manage IAM protocols and access controls for WAF management
• Maintain monitoring and alerting across WAF environments
