Job summary

Virtusa seeks an Azure Cloud Engineer to design and implement cloud solutions on Azure, building PoCs and automation patterns. You will migrate products to Azure, develop IaC, and drive secure, scalable cloud platforms.

Ideal candidates have 3–6 years of Azure/CloudOps experience, Terraform, Kubernetes, Python, and strong ownership mindset. Healthcare domain exposure is a plus. Hybrid work options possible.

Position Description

The candidate is expected to have hands-on experience with Azure, Terraforms, Kubernetes, and related cloud technologies, and should be able to understand designs and implement them effectively. This position requires a strong sense of ownership and demands a hands-on individual who can build production-grade solutions, PoCs, frameworks, and automation patterns, while contributing to user stories. The individual will implement business requirements to build cloud platform capabilities and contribute to migrating products and platforms across various technology stacks to Azure. The candidate will also be expected to use and build AI/ML-enabled solutions to reduce cost and improve overall efficiency and productivity.

Primary Responsibilities

• Be hands-on and ready to contribute from architecture design through code implementation.
• Have strong working knowledge of Azure services and cloud platform engineering.
• Understand and remediate security and compliance vulnerabilities.
• Have experience architecting Zero Trust solutions and cloud security patterns.
• Have experience with certificate management, identity management solutions, key rotation, and related automation.
• Have experience of using AI/ML tools to fast track the development
• Build infrastructure-as-code solutions
• Implement complex features and components of the cloud platform
• Be research oriented, implement required PoCs and hands-on prototypes to validate proposed designs for specific requirements
• Possess or acquire strong troubleshooting skills and be interested in resolving issues across different desperate technologies and environments

Required Experience

• 3-6 years of total industry experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of working experience with Azure cloud platform and CloudOps
• 3+ years of working experience with Terraform, Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Python, Go, Angular, or Node.js.
• Azure Cloud Certification for developers will be helpful
• Experience in the healthcare domain or Academy for Health Care Management certification is an added
