Roles & responsibilities:

• Designing and implementing scalable, secure, and highly available cloud solutions on the Azure platform.
• Managing and monitoring cloud infrastructures to ensure optimal performance and cost-efficiency.
• Automating cloud deployments and configuration management using Azure DevOps, PowerShell, and ARM templates.
• Ensuring data protection and compliance with relevant laws and regulations through Azure security features.
• Collaborating with development teams to integrate cloud services into software applications.
• Conducting disaster recovery planning and implementing backup strategies to maintain data integrity.
• Analyzing various Azure services and pricing and suggesting appropriate subscription models.
• Optimizing Azure resource utilization and implementing cost-saving measures.
• Staying current with Azure service updates and industry best practices to recommend improvements to existing architectures.
• Developing and maintaining documentation for cloud architectures, procedures, and training materials.
• Facilitating the migration of legacy systems to the Azure cloud platform.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud services with business processes.
• Assisting in daily administration and operational activities including monitoring, support, and maintenance of Azure workloads.

Requirements and skills:

• Experience working with log collection tools and analysis such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics Workspaces, and Application Insights.
• Experience in configuring and integrating monitoring tools such as Sumo Logic, DataDog, etc.
• Deep understanding and working knowledge of primary Azure services (Virtual Machines, Active Directory, Automation, Monitor, Log Analytics).
• Good understanding of Microsoft cost structure and Azure subscription models.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Blueprints, Policies, Terraform, Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, and PowerShell scripts.
• Knowledge and understanding of cloud concepts and services in Azure, and their usage and alternatives.
