Job summary

TMotions is seeking a skilled Azure Infrastructure Engineer in Mohali with 4+ years of hands-on Azure experience. You will design, deploy, and manage resilient cloud environments, focusing on security, performance, and compliance.

Responsibilities include networking, AD RBAC, data services, DR, automation, and IaC using ARM/ Terraform. Strong scripting and DevOps experience required; excellent collaboration with cross-functional teams is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
• 3+ years hands-on Azure Infrastructure and Cloud Management.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, Firewall, VPN).
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with ARM Templates and Terraform.
• Experience with repository management, PRs and code versioning.
• Hands-on Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration.
• Experience with Azure Data Services: Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks.
• Windows and/or Linux server administration.
• CI/CD pipelines and Azure DevOps experience.
• PowerShell scripting and automation.
• Cloud security standards and best practices.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for cross-functional teams.

• Perform system upgrades, patching, and security hardening.
• Automate infrastructure deployment using ARM Templates, Terraform, or Azure DevOps.
• Manage Azure storage including Blob, File Storage, and Managed Disks.
• Troubleshoot cloud, server, and network-related issues.
• Maintain proper documentation of infrastructure and configurations.
• Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Azure Infrastructure Engineer with 4+ years of hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining secure, scalable, and high-performing cloud environments while ensuring compliance with organizational and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.
• Configure and manage Virtual Machines (VMs), Virtual Networks (VNet), NSGs, Load Balancers, VPNs, and Azure networking components.
• Manage Azure Active Directory (AAD), RBAC, and identity & access management.
• Implement backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability solutions.
• Monitor performance and availability using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and related tools.
• Perform system upgrades, patch management, and security hardening.
• Automate infrastructure deployment using ARM Templates, Terraform, or Azure DevOps.
• Manage Azure storage solutions including Blob, File Storage, and Managed Disks.
• Troubleshoot cloud, server, and network-related issues.
• Maintain proper documentation of infrastructure, configurations, and processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in Azure Infrastructure and Cloud Management.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, Firewall, VPN).
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• Experience in repository management, including branching strategies, pull requests, and code versioning best practices.
• Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience working with Azure Data Services, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, and Azure Databricks.
• Experience with Windows and/or Linux server administration.

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Azure DevOps.

• Experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using ARM Templates and Terraform (knowledge of Bicep is an added advantage).
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell for automation tasks.
• Good understanding of cloud security standards and best practices.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

• Microsoft Azure certifications (AZ-104 / AZ-305 or equivalent).
• Experience working in hybrid cloud environments.
• Understanding of ISO Standards: Knowledge of relevant ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001, 27001 and 27701) and their application in the workplace.
