Job summary

Valuelabs is seeking an Azure Cloud Senior Engineer and Architect to lead the development and operation of a scalable platform enabling product communication. Strong hands-on PowerShell scripting and Azure IaC expertise are required.

You will drive platform vision, backlog, and release planning, oversee operations, manage stakeholder engagement, and mentor a team of developers and engineers across Azure services, DevOps, and Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years designing and implementing Azure resources.
• 5+ years’ experience with Azure Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• 5+ years’ experience with immutable infrastructure.
• 3+ years’ experience as a Scrum Master or similar leadership role, leading a team of at least 4 people.

Responsibilities

• Set platform vision with a clear roadmap aligned to digital product roadmap ambitions.
• Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of the platform.
• Manage day-to-day operations including monitoring performance and access control.
• Backlog ownership and clear communication of priorities to products and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with relevant frameworks and standards and manage release plans.
• Engage with developers and suppliers to drive platform delivery and success.

The Azure Cloud Senior Engineer and Architect leads and actively participates in the development and operation of a platform that enables products to talk to each other in a standard way. Should be having strong hands on development experience with advanced PowerShell scripting.

• Responsible for setting the platform vision with a clear roadmap, ensuring it aligns with digital product roadmap ambitions.
• Responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of a software or technology platform.
• Responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the platform, including monitoring performance, managing user accounts and access, and ensuring that the platform is running smoothly.
• Accountable for the platform backlog (build, edit, and maintain) and for clearly communicating the backlog to products and other stakeholders.
• Accountable for platform prioritization based on needs from multiple products and release requirements.
• Responsible for complying with relevant frameworks and standards.
• Accountable for the digital platform release plan, including communication and setting expectations for the delivery of new features and functionalities.
• Responsible for managing key stakeholder engagement, such as developers and suppliers.
• Responsible for ensuring that digital platforms are efficient and simple for products and developers.
• Responsible for managing dependencies and blockers, improving digital platform delivery capabilities.
• Responsible for gathering insights to understand and empathize with the realities of products and developers.
• Responsible for identifying and creating measures of success to understand how the platform achieves desired outcomes. • At least 5 years’ experience designing and implementing Azure resources
