Job summary

Infosys is seeking an experienced cloud architect to design, deploy and manage scalable AWS-based infrastructure in Pune. You will ensure high availability, security, and cost-efficient operation while collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into reliable cloud solutions.

The role requires 9–14 years of AWS design experience, strong networking fundamentals, and familiarity with containers and automation tools such as Terraform, Kubernetes or Docker.

Qualifications

• 9-14 years of experience designing and managing large-scale cloud infrastructures on AWS
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent; BCA preferred
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP
• Experience with container orchestration technologies like Kubernetes or Docker is a plus

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure using AWS services such as EC2, VPC, ALB/NLB, IAM, S3, EFS, ElastiCache, Route53, ELB.
• Ensure high availability and security of applications by implementing load balancing strategies and configuring network routing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop solutions that meet customer needs.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues related to cloud infrastructure deployment and management.
• Develop automation scripts using Terraform or other tools to streamline repetitive tasks.

Desired Candidate Profile

• 9-14 years of experience in designing and managing large-scale cloud infrastructures on AWS platform.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent field; B.C.A. preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP protocol suite, DNS resolution mechanisms (e.g., DNS), HTTP protocols (e.g., REST).
• Experience with container orchestration technologies like Kubernetes or Docker is an added advantage.
