Job summary

Airbus India Private Limited is seeking a professional for verification and validation of safety-critical real-time embedded software for avionics applications conforming to DO-178B/C standards. You will perform high-level requirements verification, unit-level testing, and integration testing across software and hardware interfaces.

You will analyze issues raised during testing or in service, mentor team members, and contribute to certification audits within the verification perimeter.

Qualifications

• Experience across full software verification lifecycle.
• Knowledge of DO-178 standards and avionics software processes.
• Strong testing skills: requirements, unit and integration testing, and reviews.

Main responsibilities

The jobholder will be responsible for verification & validation for Safety critical Real time Embedded software for avionics application conforming to DO 178 B/C standard for Avionics Airbus Helicopters.

Main activities

• Verification & Validation of high-level requirements
• Unit level verification of software modules
• Integration testing (software - software & software - Hardware)
• Analysis of issues raised either during testing campaigns or in-service usage
• Leading and mentoring team members for testing
• Driving certification audits under verification perimeter.

Skills

Exposure to full software lifecycle encompassing Software requirements Definition, Dynamic & Static Design, Coding and verification activities in industrialised domains. Strong experience in verification activities.

Must have skills

• Hands on experience on
• o Requirements based testing.
• o Unit and integration testing (host & target environment)
• o Software configuration management
• o Software Requirements, Design reviews
• Knowledge about standards (requirements / design / C-coding)
• Work experience on DO 178 standard
