Job summary

Airbus India Private Limited in Bengaluru seeks a professional for verification and validation of safety-critical real-time embedded avionics software conforming to DO-178B/C. The role emphasizes verification of high-level requirements, unit and integration tests, and preparation for certification audits.

Qualifications

• Must have skills: experience in requirements-based testing, unit and integration testing (host & target), software configuration management, and requirements/design reviews.
• Knowledge of standards (requirements/design/C-coding).
• Experience with DO-178 standard and project management.
• Basic understanding of RTOS; strong interpersonal and quick-learning abilities.

Job description

A. Main responsibilities

The jobholder will be responsible for verification & validation for Safety critical Real time Embedded software for avionics application conforming to DO 178 B/C standard for Avionics Airbus Helicopters.

B. Main activities

The jobholder will be responsible for (Verification of software modules): Verification & Validation of high-level requirements Unit level verification of software modules Integration testing (software – software & software – Hardware) Analysis of issues raised either during testing campaigns or in-service usage Leading and mentoring team members for testing Driving certification audits under verification perimeter.

C. Skills Exposure to full software lifecycle encompassing Software requirements Definition, Dynamic & Static Design, Coding and verification activities in industrialised domains. Strong experience in verification activities.

‘Must have’ skills:

• Hands on experience on o Requirements based testing. o Unit and integration testing (host & target environment) o Software configuration management o Software Requirements, Design reviews
• Knowledge about standards (requirements / design / C-coding)
