Job summary

Airbus India Private Limited is seeking a professional for design, development, verification and certification of safety critical real-time systems and software for avionics applications in line with DO 178 B/C standards. The role focuses on ensuring compliance and delivering certified solutions for Airbus Helicopters.

The candidate will engage in system and software requirements definition, design, verification, and certification activities, including integration testing and change impact

Qualifications

• Experience across system and software lifecycle for avionics.
• Knowledge of DO-178B/ DO-178C standards.
• Proven requirements engineering and architecture design.
• Python automation and DOORs plug-ins experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and development of safety critical real-time avionics software.
• Verify and validate system and software requirements.
• Certify systems per DO-178 B/C standards.
• Perform system design, verification and certification activities.
• Conduct integration testing across host/target environments.
• Analyze issues from tests and in-service usage.
• Prepare and review SAS, PSAC, SVP artifacts.
• Identify change impact and automate workflows.

Main responsibilities

The jobholder will be responsible for design & development, verification & validation, certification of Safety critical Real time Systems & Software for avionics application conforming to DO 178 B/C standard for Avionics Airbus Helicopters.

Main activities

The jobholder will be responsible for System Design, System Verification and Certification activities including:

• Authoring & Review of System & Software requirements (Systems level, High Level Requirements)
• Validation & Verification of System & Software Requirements
• Integration of Systems & Software Requirements
• Integration testing (System - software, software - software & software - Hardware)
• Analysis of issues raised either during testing campaigns or in-service usage
• Identification and Validation of Change Impact Analysis
• Automation and exploring new ways of working for improving the Systems activities (Python based, DOORs plug-in, other methods).
• Support Certification Activities (Authoring and reviews of SAS, PSAC, SVP etc)

Skills

Experience in full System & Software lifecycle encompassing System & Software requirements Definition, Dynamic & Static Design and verification activities for Avionics and other Aerospace systems.
‘Must have’ skills:

• Hands on experience on
