Kinly in Chennai, India is seeking an AV Event Technician to join our onsite AV team. The role is on-site, permanent, full-time with 40 hours weekly, typically 8am–5pm or 11am–8pm, five days a week, and negotiable based on experience with bonuses and benefits.

You will provide operational support for AV, video conferencing, digital signage and presentation technologies, often working with executive management in a high-profile corporate environment.

Responsabilités

• Video/audio conference setup and support.
• Support internal and external events and high-priority events.
• Assist with video/audio conferencing problems.
• Maintain multi-media meeting rooms in good working order.
• Provide AV equipment setup and presentation/multi-media support.
• Arrange equipment loans and hires to meet client specs.
• Carry out preventative room checks and report faults promptly.
• Assist with first- and second-line fault repairs and basic power cycling as needed.

AV Event Technician

We are recruiting an AV Technician to join our established and talented onsite Audio Visual team at one of the world’s most prestigious and recognisable corporate companies.

Based within an iconic building, this is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious AV professional looking to further develop their technical expertise within a high-profile client environment.

You’ll play a key role in providing operational support to customers for all aspects of audio visual, video conference, digital signage and presentation technologies used. The position involves a high degree of exposure, working sometimes with executive management and managing directors of the financial services business.

Key responsibilities include:

Video/Audio Conferencing

• Video/audio conference setup and support
• Supporting internal and external events – assisting with the provision of support for internal and external high priority events
• Assisting with support for video/audio conferencing problems

General AV Meeting Room Support

• Ensuring all multi-media/presentation rooms are maintained in good working order
• Providing AV equipment setup and Presentation/multi-media meeting room support
• Assisting with support for multi-media broadcasting
• Arranging equipment loans and hire to meet client specification

Faults and Room Checks

• Carrying out regular preventative room checks, ensuring all equipment functions correctly
• Ensuring that all faults are reported in the correct way and in a timely manner
• Proactive maintenance/reporting to ensure all AV equipment is always of the highest standard and functioning correctly.
• Assisting with first- and second-line fault repairs
• Carrying out all power down/up when required, usually involving out-of-hours overtime commitments

Skills And Experience

• Working knowledge of AV systems, meeting room technologies, and video conferencing solutions
• Experience supporting Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Cisco Webex, or similar collaboration platforms
• Knowledge of audio systems, displays, projectors, microphones, cameras, and presentation technologies
• Familiarity with the multicamera AV setup having switchers, audio mixers, microphones, talkback, presentation and streaming systems
• Ability to troubleshoot AV hardware, software, and connectivity issues
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Proven experience supporting Live events, AV systems, meeting rooms, video conferencing, or corporate event technologies
• Experience working in a corporate, managed services, or enterprise IT environment
