Job summary

POWER BRIDGE SYSTEMS PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking a skilled AV Technician with 2+ years of hands-on experience to install, configure, and support audiovisual systems across client sites in India. You will handle project work from setup to maintenance, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and travel to client locations as required.

Qualifications

• Diploma/ITI or degree in electronics/related field is required.
• Minimum two years of hands-on AV installation, integration, maintenance or support.
• Knowledge of displays, projectors, audio systems, video conferencing and control systems.
• Experience with cable termination, rack integration, and basic AV schematics reading.
• Understanding of audio/video signal flow and basic networking concepts.
• Familiarity with Teams/Zoom Rooms, Crestron, Extron, Biamp, QSC, Cisco or Poly is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure AV equipment including displays, projectors, audio and video systems.
• Carry out cable laying, termination, labeling, routing, and rack dressing.
• Test and calibrate audio, video and control systems for optimum performance.
• Diagnose and resolve signal flow, connectivity, audio, video and cabling issues.
• Provide on-site support during meetings, conferences, events and demonstrations.
• Assist users with AV and video-conferencing setup and operation.
• Perform preventive maintenance and firmware updates.
• Coordinate with AV engineers, project managers and vendors for project execution.
• Maintain installation records and asset details.
• Prepare basic user guides and provide system-operation training.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented AV Technician with at least two years of experience in installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting audiovisual systems. The role requires strong technical knowledge, effective communication skills, and the ability to provide reliable on-site support to clients and end-users.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and configure AV equipment, including displays, projectors, audio systems, microphones, speakers, control systems, and video-conferencing solutions.
  
• Carry out cable laying, termination, labelling, routing, rack dressing, and equipment integration according to approved drawings and standards.
  
• Test and calibrate audio, video, and control systems to ensure optimum performance.
  
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to signal flow, connectivity, audio, video, cabling, and control systems.
  
• Provide on-site technical support during meetings, conferences, events, and client demonstrations.
  
• Assist users with the setup and operation of AV and video-conferencing systems.
  
• Perform preventive maintenance, routine inspections, firmware updates, and equipment health checks.
  
• Coordinate with AV engineers, programmers, project managers, vendors, and other technical teams for successful project execution.
  
• Maintain accurate records of installations, system configurations, service activities, asset details, and troubleshooting procedures.
  
• Prepare basic user guides and provide system-operation training to clients and end-users.
  
• Follow workplace safety procedures and information-security requirements while working at company and client locations.
  
• Travel to project and client sites as required.
  

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma, ITI, or bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related technical field.
  
• Minimum two years of hands-on experience in AV installation, integration, maintenance, or technical support.
  
• Knowledge of displays, projectors, audio systems, video conferencing, signal distribution, and AV control systems.
  
• Experience in cable termination, connector installation, rack integration, and reading basic AV schematics.
  
• Understanding of audio/video signal flow and basic networking concepts.
  
• Familiarity with Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, Crestron, Extron, Biamp, QSC, Cisco, Poly, or similar platforms is an advantage.
