Role Description

This is a full‑time, on‑site Audio Visual Technician role based in Trivandrum. The Audio Visual Technician will install, configure, test, and maintain AV systems for meeting rooms, control rooms, and other technical environments. Responsibilities include setting up and operating video conferencing systems, managing projectors and display equipment, and configuring lighting for presentations and events. The role involves diagnosing and troubleshooting AV issues, performing routine preventive maintenance, and ensuring minimal downtime during critical operations. The technician will collaborate with engineers and end‑users, document system configurations, and support live sessions, reviews, and briefings as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong hands‑on skills with Audio Visual (AV) Systems, including installation, configuration, and basic integration.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting AV issues, including signal flow, connectivity, and hardware/software faults.
• Experience setting up and supporting Video Conferencing platforms and related peripherals (cameras, microphones, speakers).
• Practical knowledge of Projectors and display systems, including alignment, calibration, and routine maintenance.
• Familiarity with Lighting setups for presentations, meetings, and events, ensuring clear visibility and professional appearance.
• Ability to read basic technical diagrams, cable layouts, and equipment manuals; attention to detail in wiring and labeling.
• Good communication and customer service skills, with the ability to support users in a clear and respectful manner.
• Ability to work on‑site in Trivandrum, occasionally outside standard hours during critical events or maintenance windows.
• Diploma or degree in electronics, electrical, audiovisual technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in defense, space, or other high‑reliability environments is an advantage, subject to applicable security requirements.
