Job summary

EOS IT Solutions is a Bengaluru-based global technology and logistics company seeking an experienced AV Systems Designer for remote work in India. The role focuses on system design, engineering, and project management for AV deployments.

You will create signal flow diagrams, rack elevations, BOMs, and installation guidelines, and collaborate with project teams and clients to present design options and ensure standards compliance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in AV system design, room integration and project management.
• Proficiency with Office 365, CAD and project management software.
• Strong knowledge of video over IP, switching, DSPs and audio distribution.
• Ability to read engineering and architectural docs and drawings.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop complete AV system designs including signal flow diagrams, rack elevations, device specifications, and network topologies.
• Create detailed engineering drawings using Visio or D-Tools platforms.
• Define functional and technical requirements for AV systems (audio, video, control, conferencing, digital signage, etc.).
• Ensure designs comply with AVIXA, SMPTE, AES, IT networking standards.
• Research emerging AV technologies and evaluate suitability for various project types.
• Recommend hardware and software solutions to improve user experience, reliability, and maintainability.
• Perform proof‑of‑concept testing for new equipment or system architectures.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, IT teams, and vendors to align AV solutions with broader project goals.
• Capture requirements in client meetings and present design options.
• Provide engineering guidance during construction and installation.
• Produce design packages including BOM, installation guidelines, control system requirements, and acoustics.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

System Design & Engineering

• Develop complete AV system designs including signal flow diagrams, rack elevations, device specifications, and network topologies.
• Create detailed engineering drawings using tools such as Visio, or D-Tools platforms.
• Define functional and technical requirements for AV systems (audio, video, control, conferencing, digital signage, sound reinforcement, etc.).
• Ensure designs comply with industry standards (AVIXA, SMPTE, AES, IT networking best practices).

Technology Evaluation & Solution Architecture

• Research emerging AV technologies and evaluate suitability for various project types.
• Recommend hardware and software solutions that improve user experience, reliability, and maintainability.
• Perform proof‑of‑concept testing for new equipment or system architectures.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

• Work closely with project managers, architects, IT teams, and vendors to align AV solutions with broader project goals.
• Participate in client meetings to capture requirements and present design options.
• Provide engineering guidance during construction and installation phases.

Documentation & Deliverables

• Produce comprehensive design packages including:
  • System schematics
  • Bill of materials (BOM)
  • Installation guidelines
  • Control system requirements
  • Acoustic considerations

Support & Commissioning

• Provide engineering support during installation, configuration, and testing.
• Assist commissioning teams with tuning, troubleshooting, and optimization.
• Ensure final systems meet performance, usability, and scalability expectations.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE

• 3+ years’ experience in AV system design, room Integration & project management.
• AVIXA CTS certification would be considered an advantage
• Advanced understanding of AV system functionality, integration, programming and techniques.
• Proficiency with office365, project management software and CAD.
• Extensive knowledge of video networks, video over IP, switching, DSP’s, audio distribution and control processors
• Creative problem-solving, logical deployment skills, agile under pressure, and organizational abilities.
• Ability to read and comprehend project technical documents including, engineering and architectural design, timelines, acoustical reports, and constructions documents.
• Excellent communications skills, customer service skills, and organizational skill

This is a remote role; however, candidates must reside in India.
