Job summary

TCS IAE in Pune region seeks an experienced embedded systems professional with deep AUTOSAR and BMS expertise. The role focuses on embedded C/C++, MISRA compliant code, bootloader and driver design, and integration across CAN/LIN/I2C/I2S/SPI/Ethernet/UART.

You will work with diverse teams to advance automotive software, ensure quality through testing, and uphold safety and cybersecurity standards. The candidate should excel in debugging, RCA, and customer interactions, while contributing to

Qualifications

• Experience in Automotive domain with hands-on AUTOSAR architecture.
• Strong exposure to BMS system requirements, architecture and design.
• Proficient in Embedded C/C++, MISRA standard, Python and Shell scripting for automation.
• Hands-on bootloader, application and device driver design/develop.
• Experience with communication protocols CAN, LIN, I2C, I2S, SPI, Ethernet, UART.
• Hands-on experience in UT/IT/System testing.
• Experience with version control systems like Git, Azure, SVN.
• Familiar with requirement management tools e.g. JAMA, DOORs, IBM tool chain.
• Experience with different microcontrollers/processors, power PCs, multiprocessors, various OSs.
• Strong knowledge of embedded system development and testing tools; static analysis and code optimization.
• Experience with code reviews, unit testing and modular design.
• Team leading and support resolving technical issues in SW and HW.
• Strong debugging and RCA skills; customer interaction with fluent communication.
• Knowledge of safety standards IEC61508, ISO 26262 and cybersecurity.
• Understanding project management principles, planning, audits preparation.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt quickly.
• Understanding bidirectional traceability across design, development, testing artifacts.
• CR handling and proposal creation for new work.

Must Have Skills:

• Exp. in Automotive domain as specially hands on experince in AUTOSAR architecture
• Excellent exposure on BMS system, requirement, architecture,design
• Strong skills with Embedded C/C++ programming language, MISRA standard, python, shell scripting for automation.
• Exposure on bootloader, application and device driver design/develop.
• Work experince in handling communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, I2C, I2S, SPI, Ethernet, UART etc.
• Hands on experince on UT/IT/System testing
