Job summary

Happiest Minds Technologies in Coimbatore is seeking an Embedded Security Engineer to ensure the Cockpit Integration Platform (CIP) complies with automotive cybersecurity standards and regulations. You will work on security mechanisms, cryptography, hardware security modules, and secure key management, collaborating within SAFe/ASPICE processes to deliver secure CIP solutions.

Must have 5–8 years of hands-on experience, strong knowledge of secure boot, secure flashing, and firewall controls, and

Qualifications

• Design & Development of Security Mechanisms in AUTOSAR/QNX/Android/Linux.
• Knowledge of cockpit cybersecurity mechanisms including secure boot, secure flashing, access control, and firewall concepts.
• Proficiency in MISRA/CERT secure coding and cryptographic concepts like AES and PKI.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer requirements or specification proposal to identify and maintain CIP level cybersecurity requirements
• Software design, Object oriented thinking, design and implementation for customer specification
• Define and support implementation of cybersecurity concepts and controls, including secure boot, secure flashing, key management, access control, secure diagnostics, and firewall mechanisms, aligned with identified risks
• Hardware security integration – Support integration and use of HSM / TEE for secure key storage and cryptographic operations within the CIP.
• Cryptography application – Apply cryptographic principles and technologies (AES, RSA, ECC, hashing, digital signatures, PKI)
• Follow company development and quality processes like SAFe Agile, ASPICE

Good To Have Skills

• Cybersecurity standards (e.g., ISO/SAE 21434, UNECE R155, RED-DA EN 18031).
• Configuration of AUTOSAR Modules like SUM_SSC, CryIf, CSM and Trusted Execution Environment (TEE)
• Familiarity with security testing concepts such as SAST, DAST, fuzz testing, penetration testing, and CI/CD security integration.
• Solid understanding of cryptographic concepts: AES, RSA, ECC, hashing (SHA/HMAC), digital signatures, PKI, and CIA principles
• Perform threat modelling, risk assessment, and vulnerability analysis for automotive systems
