Job summary

EduBridge is the Digital Academy training partner for a Capgemini–Barclays PMIS initiative. You will deliver the Software Testing with Playwright (JavaScript) program, signed off by the client SME, using facilitator guides and fixed checkpoints. Learners’ outcomes determine deployment into Capgemini's FS Testing practice.

You will lead classroom delivery, mentor interns, and collaborate with Capgemini leadership to ensure high-quality execution and interview readiness.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software testing/QA with 2+ years automation in JS/TS.
• Demonstrable Playwright expertise — locators, fixtures & POM, storageState auth, network mocking.
• Strong JavaScript depth — async/await, classes, modules.
• API testing & CI/CD — REST/CRUD/auth; Git, GitHub Actions or Jenkins, Allure reporting.
• 2+ years training or mentoring — teach absolute beginners with structure.
• Strong verbal and written English communication.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 60 day-wise sessions per the approved curriculum: manual testing foundations to CI integration.
• Facilitate every session on EduBridge's 60:40 model — labs with a daily quiz.

Trainer — Software Testing with Playwright (JavaScript)

Your learners' outcomes are measured, reported, and directly determine their deployment into Capgemini's FS Testing practice.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Deliver — 60 day-wise sessions per the approved curriculum: manual testing foundations, JavaScript for automation, Playwright end-to-end, framework development, API testing, Git & CI/CD, and a team capstone.
• Facilitate — every session on EduBridge's 60:40 model — concept delivery plus structured hands‑on labs — closing each day with a quiz and the day's interview questions.
• Mentor — learners through daily code reviews across labs, mini project, framework build and capstone PRs; coach teams through CI pipeline setup and stabilization.
• Assess — via the full stack: daily quizzes, weekly and module assessments, five graded deliverables, and the proctored final assessment — with documented remediation for at‑risk learners.
• Track — progress on the daily learner checklist and batch reporting on EduBridge LITE/TMS; flag risks early with per-learner plans.
• Represent — delivery in Capgemini CU leadership connects (Weeks 2, 7, 10 and 12) and support learners' preparation for formal technical interviews on Superset.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Who We Are Looking For

Must-Have

• 5+ years in software testing/QA — with 2+ years hands‑on automation in JavaScript or TypeScript
• Demonstrable Playwright expertise — locators, web‑first assertions, fixtures & POM, storageState auth, network mocking, Trace Viewer, parallel execution
• Strong JavaScript depth — async/await semantics and traps, classes & inheritance, destructuring, modules
• API testing & CI/CD — REST/CRUD/auth; Git, GitHub Actions or Jenkins, Allure or equivalent reporting
• 2+ years training or mentoring — able to teach absolute beginners with patience and structure
• Strong verbal and written English communication

Good to Have

• Selenium background — strong Selenium‑JS professionals with a completed Playwright transition will be considered (verified in the technical assessment)
• ISTQB — or equivalent testing certification
• BFSI exposure — financial services project experience
• Structured delivery — facilitator‑guide-driven curriculum and LMS‑based cohorts
• Extras — TypeScript, Docker basics, mobile or accessibility testing

3. Practical – Timed Playwright build task with live code walkthrough
4. TEM Round – Domain cross-questioning + 20‑min teach‑back simulation
5. Offer + TTT – 30‑day certification before live batch allocation

• On time — TTT certified on schedule; batch inception on time
• At benchmark — weekly assessment averages and deliverable acceptance per program standards
• 100% capstone — every team demos a green CI pipeline at the panel showcase
• Clearance — cohort success rate in Capgemini's final CU technical interviews
• Audit-ready — TEM quality scores on session delivery and 60:40 adherence
