Job summary

Orbion Infotech is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to design and maintain automated test suites for web and API applications. The role emphasizes modern automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright) and experience with CI/CD pipelines.

You will perform manual testing across browsers and devices, collaborate in Agile sprints, and contribute to test documentation and API validations. Remote-first work with IST core hours is offered.

Qualifications

• Must‑Have: Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Postman, RestAssured, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Agile.
• Preferred: Java/Python, TestRail, JMeter, LightStep.

Responsibilities

• Design, execute, and maintain automated test suites for web and API apps using Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Perform manual exploratory, regression, and usability testing across browsers, devices, and OS environments.
• Collaborate with developers to define testable requirements, reproduce bugs, and validate fixes in Agile/Scrum sprints.
• Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitHub Actions) and monitor flaky test trends.
• Create comprehensive test documentation, including test cases, traceability matrices, and defect reports.
• Conduct API testing using Postman/RestAssured and validate data integrity, response codes, and performance SLAs.
