Job summary

Capco Technologies Pvt Ltd in Chennai seeks an experienced automation tester to build and maintain Selenium Java and API test suites for financial services projects.

You will collaborate with BAs, Devs, and QA, ensure high-quality software, and contribute to test strategy in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

Job Description:

• Technical Skills: 5+ years in test automation (Selenium, Karate DSL, or similar tools). Strong Java/Python (or other OOP languages) for scripting. Experience with API testing (REST/SOAP) using Karate, Postman, or RestAssured. Familiarity with TestNG/JUnit, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, or other CI/CD tools. Hands-on with Bitbucket/Git for version control. Knowledge of BDD frameworks (Cucumber, Karate) is a plus.
• Testing Expertise: Solid understanding of STLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies. Experience in functional, regression, and integration testing. Ability to write clear test cases and bug reports.
• Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. Excellent communication and teamwork (collaboration with BAs, Devs, QA). Self-motivated with a quality-first mindset.
• Behavioral Skills: Ability to collaborate Decision Making Results Driven Upgraded with Industry standard and requirements
• Education Level: Any Graduate
