Job summary

Global Payments Inc. is seeking a Software Test Analyst to join the Billing and Funding – Maverick team.

You will develop and maintain test plans and scripts for both manual and automated testing, identify defects with developers, and ensure seamless integration of new scripts into the automation pack. You should bring 4+ years of software testing experience, including Selenium and SQL, plus Java/Python and basic Jenkins/AWS/Kafka knowledge.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years of experience in software testing with emphasis on manual and automated testing.
• Experience with testing frameworks– Selenium.
• Proficient in SQL queries; familiar with Java and Python; basic knowledge of Jenkins, AWS and Kafka.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases and test scripts for both manual and automated testing.
• Identify, document and track defects; collaborate with developers to resolve issues.
• Ensure new scripts are updated/integrated into the test automation pack.
• Investigate and report defects discovered; re-test after fixes.
• Deliver regular progress/status reports as required.
• Contribute as an individual contributor and mentor junior team members.

What You’ll Own

• Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases and test scripts for both manual and automated testing
• Identify, document and track defects and issues, collaborating with developers to resolve them
• Ensuring new scripts are updated/integrated in the test automation pack
• Investigation and reporting of defects/bugs discovered, following re-test after fix
• Delivering regular progress/status reports as required
• Should be an individual contributor with minimum supervision. Also, should be able to mentor junior team member

What You’ll Bring

• 4 + years of experience in software testing with focus on both manual and automated testing.
• Experience with testing frameworks– Selenium
• Manual Testing, Automation Tools, SQL queries,
• Programming Language: Java, Python, Jenkins, AWS, Kafka basic knowledge
• Good verbal and written communication to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels
• Excellent analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, team and time management skills
