Job summary

Viaplus is seeking a Test Automation Engineer in Hyderabad to design, build, and deploy automated testing solutions. You will coordinate performance test plans, analyze results, and work with development teams to fix bugs.

The role requires 2+ years in test automation, proficiency in Java, Python, or JavaScript, and experience with Selenium, Cypress or Playwright. CI/CD exposure and strong collaborative skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in test automation and software development.
• Strong experience in functional testing process.
• Proficient in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium.
• Strong knowledge of API testing tools (e.g., Postman, Rest Assured).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies, SDLC, and STLC.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
• Good communication and collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, create, test and deploy effective test automation solutions for software.
• Coordinate with testing team to develop performance test plans and cases.

• Organize job training and mentor junior test engineers.
• Suggest new tools and techniques to improve test efficiency.

• Create automation test plans and obtain approvals.
• Configure Selenium Test Environment (Java, Selenium WebDriver, TestNG).
• Participate in Selenium environment setup with IDE.
• Create, enhance, debug and run test cases.
• Monitor defect management and regression testing.
• Coordinate Test and Development teams to resolve issues.
• Interact with client-side personnel to resolve problems and report status.
• Create defect tracking reports for releases.

• Participation in Selenium Environmental Setup with IDE.
• Creating, Enhancing, Debugging and Running Test Cases.
• Organizing, monitoring defect management process Handling changes and conducting regression tests.
• Coordination of the members of the Test team and the development team to solve the issues.
• Interaction with the people of the client side to solve problems and update the situation.
• Create a software defect tracking report entire project release status to stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
