Job summary

Honeybee Tech Solutions in Hyderabad is seeking an experienced QA tester with 3+ years in the BFSI domain to join our team. You will perform manual and functional testing, identify defects, and ensure thorough test coverage across UI and APIs.

Mandatory hands-on experience with Java, Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber, REST Assured, and PL/SQL queries. UI automation will account for most testing, with additional work on API and backend validation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of testing experience, preferably in BFSI domain.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail for thorough testing.
• Ability to identify, report, track, and retest defects.
• Hands-on in API testing and automation with REST Assured and Java.
• Expertise in UI automation covering a large portion of testing.
• Knowledge of Java, Selenium, TestNG, and Cucumber (BDD).
• Knowledge of PL/SQL and backend database testing.

Responsibilities

• Execute manual and automated tests across UI and API layers.
• Identify and log defects; retest and verify fixes.
• Collaborate with developers to understand requirements and improve test coverage.

• Strong understanding of PL/SQL queries.
• Hands-on experience in API testing and automation is mandatory.
• Hands-on experience with REST Assured using Java is mandatory.
• Knowledge of JDBC and backend database testing.
• Experience with UI automation, accounting for approximately 100% of the testing effort.
