Job summary

AlgoShack in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced Software Test Engineer to drive manual and automation testing initiatives. The role emphasizes strong Java skills, UI automation with Selenium, API testing with Rest Assured, and robust debugging abilities.

You will work with AI-assisted testing practices to generate test cases, data, and automation scripts, contribute to SDLC/STLC adherence, and collaborate in CI/CD environments using Git. Prior leadership exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software testing experience (manual and automation).
• Strong proficiency in Java programming.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium for UI automation.
• Experience with API testing using Rest Assured.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Copilot-assisted testing approaches.
• Regression, sanity, and smoke testing expertise.
• Solid understanding of SDLC and STLC processes.
• Awareness of AI-assisted testing practices including test case, data, and script generation with generative AI tools.
• Experience in handling or leading a team.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Git version control.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
