Job summary

Sideis is seeking a hands-on SDET Consultant to drive our automation-first QA strategy across backend systems, APIs, and mobile gaming experiences. You’ll own the automation pipeline, build robust test suites, and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable fast, reliable releases.

You'll collaborate with top QA and SDET engineers, expand coverage across platforms, and aggressively debug flaky tests. Leverage AI coding assistants like Claude, Cursor, and GitHub Copilot to accelerate

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on experience as an SDET or Automation Engineer.
• Strong coding skills in Java, Python, or TypeScript.
• Experience with API, UI, and mobile automation frameworks.
• Working knowledge of Jenkins or CI/CD tools.

Responsibilities

• Own the Automation Pipeline: Develop, scale, and maintain automated test suites for critical user journeys, Build Verification Tests (BVT), and deep regression cycles.
• Power Up Backend & APIs: Build and execute seamless API/backend automation, integrating tests into Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines for continuous delivery.
• Conquer Mobile Coverage: Contribute to mobile automation initiatives, expanding automated test coverage across platforms.
• Exterminate Bugs: Debug automation failures, eliminate flaky tests, and ensure maximum test stability in a fast-paced release environment.
• Collaborate & Conquer: Partner with QA and SDET engineers to deliver robust automation solutions quickly and reliably.
• Harness AI Superpowers: Utilize AI coding assistants like Claude, Cursor, and GitHub Copilot to accelerate automation development and debugging.

What You Need to Bring (Player Stats)

• Experience: 3+ years of hands-on experience as an SDET or Automation Engineer.
• Coding Mastery: Strong, demonstrable coding skills in Java, Python, or TypeScript.
• Core Competencies: Proven experience with API, UI, and/or mobile automation frameworks.
• DevOps Synergy: Working knowledge of Jenkins or similar modern CI/CD tools.
• Problem-Solving Mindset: Exceptional debugging skills with a keen eye for root-cause analysis.
• Bonus XP: Hands-on experience using AI coding and automation assistants to boost productivity!
