Job summary

Nuvena builds Navio, the Execution Operating System, and seeks an Automation Engineer to write Python workflows, integrations and APIs that pull data from websites and external platforms, pass it through AI steps for extraction and checks, and land it in Navio OS and Navio On It.

You’ll own every workflow from script to production, handle changes in portals or data formats, and ensure reliability with production-grade practices.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of hands-on Python development.
• Has built real data automations with APIs and browser tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Requests or BeautifulSoup.
• Working knowledge of PostgreSQL or SQL, REST APIs and Git.
• Debugs methodically: reads the logs, finds the real cause and fixes it properly.
• Uses AI coding tools to move faster without lowering the bar.
• Takes ownership and finishes what you start.

Responsibilities

• Build Python automations and data workflows that log in, fill forms, handle sessions and downloads, and pull data from websites, portals and APIs, using Playwright, Selenium, Requests and BeautifulSoup.
• Build and integrate REST APIs with FastAPI, and store and query data in PostgreSQL.
• Add AI steps to workflows for extraction, classification and validation, with automatic checks, so only validated output reaches the product.
• Make every workflow production-grade: retries, error handling, logging, alerts and the edge cases nobody wrote down.
• Deploy, monitor and maintain your workflows, and fix them fast when an external platform or data format changes.
• Use Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot or similar tools every day to build, test and debug faster.

Role Summary

You build the automations that keep Navio running without anyone pushing buttons. As an Automation Engineer, you write the Python workflows, integrations and APIs that pull data from websites and external platforms, pass it through AI steps for extraction and checks, and land it cleanly in Navio OS and Navio On It. When a portal changes or a data format breaks, you are the first to know and the first to fix it. You own every workflow you write, from the first script to production and every day after.
