Job summary

Niehoff is seeking an Automation Engineer to work on automation systems for wire drawing and cable-making machines. The role involves PLC programming, machine control, drives, motion systems, commissioning, and troubleshooting. You will work with PLC, HMI/SCADA, VFDs, servo drives, and motion-control systems to ensure smooth operation.

Testing, commissioning and fault diagnosis support are also required. Location is Pashamylaram, Patancheru, Sangareddy District, TG, with a focus on on-site

Qualifications

Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Electrical/Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE) or equivalent.
1–5 years of relevant experience in industrial automation, PLC programming, machine automation or commissioning.
Experience with Siemens/TIA Portal, HMI/SCADA and motion-control systems is expected.

Responsibilities

Develop, modify and troubleshoot PLC programs for wire/cable machinery.
Work with Siemens PLCs, TIA Portal, HMI/SCADA and PROFINET.
Coordinate with mechanical/electrical teams for machine integration.
Configure and troubleshoot servo motors, drives, VFDs and motion-control systems.
Integrate sensors/actuators with machine-control systems.
Perform machine testing, commissioning and troubleshooting.
Provide technical support during installation and commissioning at customer sites.
Identify and resolve electrical/automation issues during commissioning.
Support testing and fault diagnosis across projects.

JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for an Automation Engineer to work on automation systems for wire drawing and cable-making machines. The role involves PLC programming, machine control, drives, motion systems, commissioning, and troubleshooting. The role involves working with PLC, HMI/SCADA, VFDs, servo drives, and motion-control systems to ensure smooth and reliable machine operation. The engineer will also support machine testing, commissioning, fault diagnosis, and technical troubleshooting.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
