Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation / Mechatronics Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of STL programming and advanced motion control for SPMs or high-speed industrial machinery.
• Freshers with strong technical knowledge, academic projects in motion control, and proficiency in STL are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Automation solutions for SPMs using PLC, servo drives, and automation controllers.
• Program PLCs, HMIs, and motion controllers using Structured Text (STL) and other IEC 61131-3 languages (Siemens / Mitsubishi / Delta / or equivalent).
• Select, configure, and integrate multi-axis servo motors, stepper motors, and VFDs.
• Develop complex control logic, safety interlocks, precise motion profiles, and system sequences.
• Commission, troubleshoot, and fine-tune machine motion parameters on-site for optimal speed and positioning accuracy.
• Collaborate with mechanical design engineers, production teams, and customers to optimize machine cycle times.
• Prepare technical documentation, wiring diagrams, motion calculation sheets, and user manuals.
• Provide training and technical support for operators and maintenance teams.
• Strong expertise in advanced motion control systems, closed-loop servo tuning, and automation hardware.
• Hands‑on proficiency in PLC programming with a strong emphasis on Structured Text (STL).
• Experience with automated motion control libraries, PLCopen motion function blocks, and kinematics.
• Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (EtherNet/IP, Modbus, ProfiNet, EtherCAT, etc.).
• Ability to analyze mechanical and electrical aspects of SPMs for smooth integration of high-speed automation.
• Problem-solving mindset with strong debugging, tracing, and troubleshooting skills in text-based code.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

We are looking for a skilled Automation Engineer to join our Special Purpose Machine (SPM) division. The role involves designing, programming, and commissioning high-performance automation systems with a heavy focus on advanced motion control and structured programming for custom-built machines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop Automation solutions for SPMs using PLC, servo drives, and automation controllers.
• Program PLCs, HMIs, and motion controllers using Structured Text (STL) and other IEC 61131-3 languages (Siemens / Mitsubishi / Delta / or equivalent).
