Job summary

Zensar Technologies in Bengaluru, India is seeking an experienced Test Automation engineer to design and implement robust automation frameworks for web applications and APIs.

You will work in an Agile/Scrum environment, develop scripts in Java, Selenium, TestNG, and Cucumber, and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitHub Actions.

Experience in API testing with Rest Assured and Postman, plus performance testing with Gatling or Karate, is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in Test Automation / QA Engineering / SDET roles.
• Strong programming skills in Core Java with solid understanding of OOP concepts.
• Experience in test automation frameworks: Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber (BDD).
• Hands‑on experience with API testing (Rest Assured, Postman).
• Proficiency in Python or Shell scripting.
• Experience with CI/CD tools: Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases, including query writing and JDBC.
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (Jira).

• Understanding DevOps practices, REST APIs, and workflow orchestration tools (Temporal, N8N).


• Experience leveraging AI/GenAI tools for automation and productivity.


• Strong analytical skills, problem‑solving ability, and a continuous learning mindset.
