Job summary

Zensar Technologies, Pune, is seeking an experienced senior backend engineer to design, develop, test, and support robust backend services using C# and .NET. You will build RESTful APIs, modernize legacy components into microservices, and integrate with SQL Server, all while aligning with security practices and CI/CD-enabled deployments on Azure.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of enterprise software development experience with strong hands-on C# and .NET.
• Strong proficiency in .NET/.NET Core, ASP.NET Core, REST APIs, service design, dependency injection, and OO programming.
• Experience designing scalable backend services, distributed integrations, and maintainable architecture.
• Working knowledge of MS SQL Server, T-SQL, stored procedures, data modeling, and performance considerations.
• Hands-on experience with Azure app services and Azure DevOps or equivalent CI/CD tooling.
• Experience with unit, integration, and regression testing; secure coding; code reviews; and production troubleshooting.
• Strong problem-solving, technical communication, ownership, and collaboration skills.
