Job summary

Zensar is seeking a senior applications engineer with 8+ years of hands-on software development experience. The role requires deep expertise in at least one of Java, C#/.NET, C++, or Python and comfort with the other languages.

You will lead security remediation work, manage dependency upgrades from SCA findings, and implement OWASP-class fixes. You will operate at volume, driving merge-ready pull requests and triaging agent outputs.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience.
• Proficient in at least one of Java, C#/.NET, C++ or Python and comfortable reading the others.
• Experience with security remediation, OWASP-class fixes, and dependency upgrades.

Responsibilities

• Remediate security vulnerabilities at volume driven by SCA findings and manage breaking changes.
• Operate agentic coding workflows to produce merge-ready PRs at volume, triage and correct agent output.
• Work fluently with an unfamiliar codebase and join a product team you did not build.
• Maintain disciplined PR practices using GitHub Actions.
