Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Automation Architect with strong expertise in designing, developing, and governing scalable test automation frameworks using Java, Selenium, Playwright, and TypeScript, along with hands‑on knowledge of Generative AI (GenAI) and Large Language Models (LLMs).

The ideal candidate will drive automation strategy, framework architecture, technical standards, and engineering best practices across projects. This role requires a strong combination of technical expertise, architectural vision, leadership, and governance capabilities, with a focus on integrating AI‑driven testing solutions into enterprise automation ecosystems.

Work Location: Chennai, Coimbatore, Bangalore and Pune

Required Skill:

• Overall 15+ years of experience and minimum 4+ years of relevant experience in Automation Architect role is must.
• The ideal candidate is a hands‑on Automation Architect who combines deep technical expertise in Java, Selenium, Playwright, and TypeScript with a strong understanding of GenAI and LLM technologies.
• The candidate should be capable of defining automation architecture, driving engineering governance, mentoring teams, and introducing innovative AI‑driven testing approaches to improve software quality, delivery speed, and automation efficiency.

Secondary Skills Good to Have

• Experience with DeepEval and RAGAS for LLM evaluation.
• Working knowledge of Python for scripting, automation utilities, and AI integrations.
• Understanding of RAG architectures, embeddings, vector databases, and prompt engineering.
• Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of API automation, performance testing, cloud‑based test execution, and containerization.
• Familiarity with AI‑assisted test generation and intelligent test maintenance solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Automation Framework Design & Architecture

• Define and drive the enterprise‑wide test automation strategy, architecture, and roadmap.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, reusable, modular, and maintainable automation frameworks.
• Lead framework development using Java, Selenium, Playwright, and TypeScript.
• Establish automation design patterns, coding standards, reusable components, and best practices.
• Define strategies for UI, API, integration, and end‑to‑end test automation.
• Evaluate emerging automation technologies and recommend suitable tools and frameworks.
• Ensure automation solutions are reliable, scalable, secure, and aligned with enterprise architecture standards.

2. GenAI & LLM-Based Test Automation

• Explore and implement GenAI and LLM‑powered solutions to enhance test automation capabilities.
• Design AI‑assisted approaches for test case generation, test script creation, test data generation, defect analysis, and test maintenance.
• Evaluate and integrate LLM‑based solutions into existing automation frameworks.
• Establish evaluation strategies to measure the accuracy, reliability, and effectiveness of AI‑generated test outputs.
• Leverage tools such as DeepEval and RAGAS for evaluating LLM applications and Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines.
• Define appropriate validation, monitoring, and quality controls for AI‑driven testing solutions.

3. Technical Leadership & Governance

• Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance to automation engineers and QA teams.
• Define automation governance models, quality standards, review processes, and engineering guidelines.
• Establish metrics and KPIs to measure automation effectiveness, test coverage, execution stability, and return on investment.
• Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, and technical assessments.
• Mentor team members and drive continuous improvement in automation maturity.
• Collaborate with development, QA, DevOps, product, and architecture teams to align automation initiatives with business objectives.
• Drive standardization and adoption of automation best practices across multiple teams and projects.

4. DevOps & CI/CD Integration

• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing and rapid feedback.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to optimize automation execution across development, testing, and deployment environments.
• Implement parallel execution, test reporting, failure analysis, and execution monitoring.
• Improve pipeline efficiency, test reliability, and overall release quality.
