Job summary

Emids Technologies is seeking a Test Automation Architect to lead QA automation initiatives across enterprise platforms in Bangalore/Noida. You will design scalable frameworks, mentor teams and drive AI-driven testing strategies.

The role requires hands-on technical leadership with Python and automation tools, plus experience with data testing, ETL, and modern cloud/CI/CD practices. Immediate to short notice preferred.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of QA, Quality Engineering and Test Automation experience.
• Designing and implementing scalable automation frameworks from scratch.
• Hands-on with multiple automation tools (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, and more).
• Strong programming in Python plus at least two other languages (Java/ C#).
• Experience with API/UI/database testing and SQL proficiency.
• GenAI/LLMs to automate QA activities and agentic AI concepts.

Role Overview

Test Automation Architect AI & Quality Engineering

Skills / Experience

• 10+ years of experience in QA, Quality Engineering and Test Automation
• Strong experience designing and implementing scalable automation frameworks from scratch.
• Hands-on experience with at least 2 automation tool such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Tosca, UFT, TestComplete, etc.
• Strong programming experience in at least 2 development languages, such as .NET/C# and Java; Python is mandatory.
• Experience with at least 2 scripting languages, such as JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Strong experience in API, UI, integration and database testing, with excellent SQL skills.
• Strong hands-on experience in ETL testing, including data validation, source-to-target reconciliation, transformation/business-rule validation and data quality testing. Experience with Databricks, Spark or any ETL tool is desirable.
• Ability to quickly learn and work with new technologies/protocols and develop custom test drivers, stubs, mocks, simulators and integration components to enable automation and testing.
• Experience defining QA/Automation strategy and architecture for at least one enterprise application/platform.
• Hands-on experience leveraging GenAI/LLMs to automate QA activities, including test-case generation, script generation, test analysis, defect analysis and test data generation.
• Experience designing and developing AI/QA Agents using Python or other technologies to automate or orchestrate QA tasks; experience with agentic frameworks is desirable.
• Experience with modern technologies such as Kafka, Databricks, Azure Data Lake, cloud platforms and CI/CD.
• Experience integrating automation frameworks with Jira, Azure DevOps, Rally, qTest, Xray, Zephyr or other ALM/Test Management tools is desirable.
• Strong understanding of Agile, DevOps, CI/CD and Quality Engineering practices, with the ability to provide technical leadership and mentor automation teams.

Key Expectation

The candidate should be a hands-on Automation Architect who can combine automation engineering, ETL/data testing, Python, GenAI and Agentic AI to build next-generation QA solutions and quickly engineer solutions for new and unfamiliar technologies.
