Job summary

Sperton Global AS in Navi Mumbai is seeking an AutoCAD Engineer with 1–3 years of AutoCAD drafting experience to prepare 2D drawings for ELV, CCTV, and security systems.

The candidate should be proficient in AutoCAD 2D, understand floor plans and layouts, and coordinate with Pre-Sales, Project, Engineering, and Installation teams. On-site work is required.

Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Civil, or related field.
1–3 years of relevant AutoCAD drafting/design experience.
Strong knowledge of AutoCAD 2D is mandatory.
Basic understanding of CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarm, Networking, and Structured Cabling.

Responsibilities

Prepare detailed AutoCAD drawings and layouts for ELV and security systems.
Develop CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarm and system drawings.
Create cable routing, conduit, and structured cabling layouts.
Produce floor plans, equipment layouts, schematics, and installation drawings.
Coordinate with multiple teams and update drawings per client feedback.

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented AutoCAD Engineer to prepare technical drawings, layouts, and documentation for ELV, Electronic Security, and Security Automation projects.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of AutoCAD 2D and a basic understanding of CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarm, Networking, Structured Cabling, and other ELV systems.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed AutoCAD drawings, layouts, and technical drawings for ELV and security systems.
Prepare CCTV camera layouts, Access Control layouts, Fire Alarm layouts, and other system drawings.
Prepare cable routing, conduit, cable tray, and structured cabling layouts.
Develop floor plans, equipment layouts, schematic drawings, and installation drawings.
Prepare drawings based on site survey reports, BOQs, project requirements, and engineering inputs.
Coordinate with Pre-Sales, Project, Engineering, and Installation teams for drawing requirements.
Modify drawings based on client comments, site conditions, and project changes.
Prepare As-Built drawings after project completion.
Maintain proper revision control and documentation of project drawings.
Coordinate with site engineers to understand actual site conditions and incorporate changes into drawings.
Support the project team with technical documentation and drawing submissions.

Requirements

Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Civil, or a related field.
1–3 years of relevant experience in AutoCAD drafting/design.
Strong knowledge of AutoCAD 2D is mandatory.
Good understanding of 2D drawings, floor plans, layouts, and technical drawings.
Basic knowledge of CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarm, Networking, and Structured Cabling.
Ability to read and understand technical drawings and floor plans.
Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel and documentation.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work with project and site teams and manage multiple drawings simultaneously.

Preferred Experience

Experience in CCTV, Electronic Security, ELV, Fire Alarm, Access Control, Networking, or Structured Cabling projects will be preferred.
