Job summary

Aurum Equity Partners LLP is seeking an Associate in Gurugram. The role requires at least 2 years of experience in Investment Banking or Private Equity and relevant qualifications (CA/CFA Level 2/MBA).

You will support end-to-end deal execution across M&A and PE mandates, coordinating with senior teams and analysts to deliver pitch books, financial models and client materials. The position centers on preparing memorandums, conducting industry research and marketing opportunities to investors,

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Investment Banking or Private Equity.
• CA, CFA Level 2 or MBA/post-graduate education from Tier I schools.
• End-to-end transaction closure experience is preferred.
• Experience in Industrials, Consumer, Healthcare, BFSI or Tech is advantageous.

Role Overview:

The Associate role at Aurum Equity Partners LLP is for candidates with prior experience of minimum 2 years in Investment Banking/ Private Equity (IBD/PE) along with a Chartered Accountancy, CFA Level 2 or post-graduate (MBA or equivalent) education from reputed Tier I B-Schools / Engineering-Schools. End-to-End transaction closure experience from a buy-side or sell-side or strong experience in Industrials, Consumer, Healthcare, BFSI or Technology sector is preferable.

Work Details:

An Associate will be a key-part of transaction teams that work on M&A or PE mandates from transaction pitching to closure in his/her vertical and act as a bridge between the senior team members (Managing Directors/ Directors / Vice Presidents), peers (Associates) and sub-ordinates (Analysts) while playing a key role in executing the entire life cycle of a Transaction.

Typical work includes:

• Preparation of presentations comprising of pitch books, deal books and reports
• Preparation of information memorandums, financial models and valuations
• Conducting industry research
• Marketing of the deal/opportunity to potential investors by leading the discussion in investor meetings/ calls/road-shows with clients
• Coordinate the due-diligence process and resolve issues/concerns while liaising with third-party vendors like accounting firms/ legal firms etc.
• Participating in Deal Execution Process
• Actively support Vice Presidents / Directors/ Managing Directors in term-sheet preparation and definitive documentation
• Mentor/manage Analysts in preparation of client pitches, industry analysis, Transaction collaterals like teasers, IMs and financial models while interacting with clients.

Note:

This position is strictly office-based (Gurugram). Hybrid and work-from-home arrangements are not available.
