Job summary

Aurum Equity Partners LLP seeks a Vice President with 4+ years in Investment Banking or Private Equity and qualifications such as CA, CFA Level 3 or MBA from IIMs/IITs or Tier I schools. End-to-end transaction closure experience is preferred.

You will drive end-to-end deal closure in buy-side, sell-side or sector-specific engagements across Industrials, Consumer, Healthcare, BFSI or Technology, and lead junior team members.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years in Investment Banking or Private Equity (IBD/PE).
• CA, CFA Level 3 or MBA from top institutes as stated in the requirements.
• End‑to‑End transaction closure experience from buy‑side or sell‑side preferred.

Responsibilities

Job description

Role Overview:

The Vice President role at Aurum Equity Partners LLP is for candidates with prior experience of minimum 4 years in Investment Banking or Private Equity (IBD/PE) along with a Chartered Accountancy, CFA Level 3 or post-graduate (MBA or equivalent) education from IIMs, IITs or reputed Tier I B-Schools or Engineering Schools. End-to-End transaction closure experience from a buy-side or sell-side or strong experience in Industrials, Consumer, Healthcare, BFSI or Technology Sector is preferable.

Work Details:

The VP will be a key part of transaction teams that work on M&A or PE mandates from transaction pitching to closure in his/her vertical and act as a bridge between the senior team members (Managing Director/ Director) and subordinates (Associates/Analysts) while playing a key role in executing the entire life cycle of a Transaction.

Typical work includes:

• Preparation of presentations comprising of pitch books, deal books and reports
• Preparation of information memorandums, financial models and valuations
• Conducting industry research
• Marketing of the deal/opportunity to potential investors by leading the discussion in investor meetings, calls or road‑shows with clients
• Coordinate the due‑diligence process and resolve issues while liaising with third‑party vendors like accounting firms or legal firms
• Managing end to end deal execution and closure process
• Basic deal structure preparation
• Actively support Managing Director/ Director in term‑sheet preparation and definitive documentation
• Mentoring Analysts and Associates

This position is strictly office-based (Gurugram). Hybrid and work‑from‑home arrangements are not available.
