Job Description:
Overview:

The Audit Methodology Manager supports the execution of Audit Methodology strategy and programs. They are responsible for developing, managing, and updating audit and assurance methodology content to ensure it aligns with current professional standards, regulations, and best practices. Additionally, they will ensure compliance with the firm’s System of Quality Management.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop, update, and maintain audit and assurance methodology documents, including audit manual chapters, guidance, and workpapers in compliance with applicable audit standards and Crowe Audit Methodology.
  • Collaborate with the Methodology and cross-functional/global stakeholders on methodology-related projects and tasks, including Quality Management, Learning, Technology, Innovation, and practice teams.
  • Assist with content governance framework and processes.
  • Collaborate with the Audit BU to identify methodology-related needs, assess challenges and opportunities, and develop practical solutions that support audit quality, consistency, and execution.
  • Contribute to initiatives that modernize audit methodology, improve auditor experience, and support technology-enabled audit execution.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business.
  • Relevant fields of study must include accounting and auditing.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience with United States auditing standards.
  • CPA certification.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office/O365 suite of tools.
