You will help with mobility, hygiene, transfer and ensuring clean, organized care areas while following hospital policies and patient privacy standards. This role emphasizes compassionate service and teamwork with clinical staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily activities such as walking, sitting, and moving between beds or chairs under nursing supervision.
• Help transfer patients between beds, wheelchairs, and stretchers to support mobility.
• Assist patients with personal hygiene and comfort as required.
• Ensure patient beds, wheelchairs, and stretchers are clean and ready for use.
• Support nursing staff in routine patient care activities as instructed.
• Transport patients to investigations, procedures, and consultations.
• Respond promptly to patient requests and inform nursing staff of concerns.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in patient care areas.
• Assist in shifting and handling patient belongings safely.
• Follow hospital policies, infection control practices and safety protocols.
• Maintain patient privacy, dignity, and confidentiality at all times.
• Report emergencies or patient discomfort to nursing staff immediately.
• Ensure proper handover of duties to the next shift.
• Perform any other duties assigned by supervisor or department head.
