Job Role

• On time and accurate reporting of Income Statement and Balance sheet and other reports in Group Reporting system.
• Analysis of costs and explain reasons for deviations in an actionable way.
• Full comprehensive and control of all lines of the Income statement and ability to analyses and explain their movements.
• Analysis of all variances, presenting a good explanation for them and proposing corrective actions.
• Reconcile and prepare bridges between different periods for different scorecards and KPIs.
• Ability to explain the story behind the numbers to a non-financial audience. Develop Powerbase dashboards using the data warehouse to be able to present better and actionable analysis to the management.
• Dealing with Statutory and Internal Audits and addressing their queries satisfactorily.
• Work with SHE and Sourcing team to build a reliable process to capture and analyses Sustain / BPR data – ensure the data is reported in GPS on time.
• Review provisions regularly and make sure that the provision is in line with the recommendations in “the way we do things”.
• Actively review costs and challenge colleagues about their justification and trigger cost reduction ideas. Build awareness about costs within the organization.
• Set up a proper control process to ensure that APP runs are properly updated by Master Data Stewards.
• Prepare / Develop crisp reports for Management to explain the company/division performance.
• Support finance manager in reporting and planning process- BRM preparation etc.
• Work closely with ACBS finance and safeguard that costs are correctly booked and reported.
• To safeguard a good internal control environment and ensure continued compliance with the external and internal audit requirements.
• To be pro-active, making sure that red flags are highlighted, that action plans are in place whenever necessary.
• Support for SAP / SAP SRM for system issues, Change requests & propose new system enhancements
• To devise easy to use financial tools for effective and efficient project management.
• Capture and monitor business risks and advise mitigation.
• Calculation of monthly cost per line and variance analysis reporting to management.
• Self driven, team player who takes ownership and communicates well with colleagues
