Job summary

Vizen Life Sciences Pvt Ltd is seeking a senior Medicinal Chemist with a PhD in Synthetic Organic Chemistry and 15-20 years of post-PhD experience in Medicinal Chemistry. The candidate will lead lead generation and lead optimization for pipeline projects, analyze SAR and SPR, and collaborate across medicinal chemistry, pharmacology, analytical, ADME and site leadership to advance compounds.

Strong IP understanding is required.

Qualifications

• PhD in Synthetic Organic Chemistry required.
• 15-20 years post-PhD experience in Medicinal Chemistry.
• Proven track record of delivering hits, leads and clinical candidates to the pharmaceutical industry.
• Management and mentoring of synthetic chemists.
• Strong understanding of intellectual property related to medicinal compounds.

• Medicinal Chemistry of Lead Generation and Lead Optimization of Pipeline Projects.

• Collaborate with Medicinal Chemistry, Pharmacology, Analytical, ADME and Site Leadership.
• Develop appropriate flow schemes of relevant in vitro and in vivo assays.
• Appropriate allocation of resources for maximum cost effectiveness.
• Work effectively with Project Management.
• Make presentations of your projects at various Enveda forums.
• Emphasize safety in the chemistry laboratories in coordination with site safety head.
